I've been head down in words and ideas most of the summer, sat behind my desk, twiddling my story solving 'What If's' as the world goes on about me. I've also had some positive meetings, and cut my teaching hours at uni to create more time to write. Good changes.
And the world too is changing. But we now have a leader of the opposition party who actually believes in the Labour I believed in, and will, I hope continue to stand up for its values. (He's too old to change, too old to sell out, he's a fight on his hands, we've a fight on our hands). I'm expecting that he'll provoke discussion and make noise on things that are not always easy to discuss when some folk don't want them discussed (Palestine, Saudi Arabia, human rights...).
So here's to making noise with Mr Corbyn.... and his Autumn jumpers.
